The Stewart Terrace Project was an interior and exterior rehabilitation of a twenty-nine unit affordable senior housing in Sherwood, Oregon. The project also included the construction of a new community building with a property management office and meeting room for the residents. The work commenced in May 2011 and was completed in the fall of 2011.

Exterior work included new window and siding installations along with new gutters and downspouts on each of the six buildings. Concrete ramps and metal guardrails were installed making each ground floor unit accessible. New asphalt paving and stripping was installed at the onsite parking lot. Exterior lighting and signage were also upgraded. The project also consisted of new site improvements including a community garden, a gazebo and new landscaping for the residents to enjoy.

The interior scope of work included new kitchen and bath cabinetry, countertops, sinks, faucets, medicine cabinets, new refrigerators, ranges and range hoods and new vinyl flooring in each unit. Additionally, all baseboard heating units were replaced with new in-wall electric heaters. Selected units also received new carpet and interior painting throughout. Improvements to the existing laundry facility were also completed during the course of the project.
