The 24 Hour Fitness Pool Roof Replacement Project located on Lancaster Dr. in Salem, OR consists of demolition of 5600 square feet of existing roof, roof sheathing, extensive repair of existing glue lam beams, installation of new roof sheathing, new tapered insulation system with membrane roofing, modifications to HVAC system and painting of new roof structure. Challenges included working over the top of the existing swimming pool, protection of existing finishes and equipment and an aggressive one month schedule for completion. Work was completed from electric knuckle boom lifts and required removal of an existing man door and part of the existing wall to gain access into the building for the lift equipment. Project was completed and turned over on schedule despite record rainfall in September.
